The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results of the 2025 GCE (1st series). If you sat for the exam, you can now check your results online!
Exam Statistics
The 2025 GCE (1st series) took place from Wednesday, January 29 to Saturday, February 15, 2025, across 143 centres nationwide. A total of 9,054 candidates participated, with 4,384 males (48.42%) and 4,670 females (51.58%).
However, only 2,441 candidates (26.96%) obtained a minimum of five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, which is required for university admission.
Breakdown of Released Results
- 95.55% (8,651 candidates) – Results fully processed and released.
- 4.45% (403 candidates) – Results still being processed due to errors.
- 0.62% (56 candidates) – Results withheld due to exam malpractice.

- Enter your Examination Number
- Select Examination Year as 2025
