About NDE
Established in response to Nigeria’s rising unemployment crisis, the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) traces its roots back to the “Chukwuma Committee” of 1985, created to design strategies for mass employment.
Recognizing the need to engage Nigeria’s vast pool of low-skilled labor, the committee advocated for an agency dedicated to job creation.This led to the NDE’s founding on March 26, 1986, with nationwide programs launched in 1987.
The NDE, under its legal mission, has subsequently concentrated on creative training programs targeted at producing employment and relieving poverty, with streamlined efforts for sustainable impact.
How to Apply for NDE Renewed Hope Job 2024
Interested applicants should visit the NDE website @ https://nderegistrationportal.ng to create an account and register online with an active email address, passport and National identity Number (NIN).
Successful applicants will be contacted via email by the NDE for deployment to training center. For further enquires, interested persone can contact the NDE office in their state of residence.
In a similar vein, NDE trainees and trainers have been approved to receive their stipends and trainers’ allowances immediately.
Covering April and August 2024 as well as 2021–2022, since all impacted trainers and trainees during the specified time frame have been confirmed to be eligible for prompt payment.
The deadline for the NDE renewed hope program is December 31, 2024.
