At the University of Benin in Benin City, Edo State, he continued his study by receiving a Bachelor’s degree. At PEFTI, Wale Adenuga’s film school, he also refined his acting abilities.

Following an audition, Kelechi was cast in the lead role of Wale Adenuga’s television series “Behind The Smile,” marking the beginning of his professional acting career.
With the main role in “Officer Titus,” he made his breakthrough and shot to fame.
