Day 8 Quote: May Allah grant you a life of peace and prosperity. I wish you a blessed Ramadan. Please remember me in your prayers.

Simplify your life during Ramadan by getting rid of excess clutter and organizing what remains.

The goal isn’t to create a beautiful, empty space or become a minimalist overnight; it’s to give yourself some breathing room so you can enjoy Ramadan with more clarity and peace of mind.

You might discover you don’t need as much as you thought. And if you do need stuff, consider making it something that adds value to your life instead of just taking up space. If a purchase is going to tempt you, give in to its allure, and then get rid of it right away—get into now mode.

Take advantage of any opportunity for instant gratification without adding more unwanted thingsthings later on.

What to do on Day 1 of Ramadan

Recite One Juz
During the taraweeh prayers at the masjid, they recite one juz per day, but you will not understand it if you are not fluent in Arabic, so it is suggested that you read or listen to the Quran in your native language throughout the day so that if you attend taraweeh, you will know what it was about that particular day.

You will get double reward as well because not only did you listen to it in it’s revealed language, but you also understand it as well.

Procedure:

  • Read 4 pages of the Qur’an after every Salah.
  • Make sure you understand it.
  • 5 prayers X 4 pages = 20 pages.
  • 20 pages = about 1 juzz.
  • 1 juzz X 30 = the entire Qur’an.
